About Me
Alexandra is born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She is attending Barnard College of Columbia University, which is located in New York City, NY. Experiencing two diverse cities explosive with art, she is constantly inspired by architecture, landscapes, and all of the artwork in museums. Taking AP Art History in High School has opened her eyes to deeply appreciating all the intricate, meaningful artwork of the indigenous peoples of Oceania (Tribal art). Some of her favorite artists include Michelangelo, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Jean-Honoré Fragonard, and Wassily Kandinsky. She is fascinated with experimenting in different mediums: graphic design, watercolor, paint, colored pencil, and pen. She loves combining these mediums into one to create a layered effect. She plans to continue exploring multimedia art and developing her study.
